deevee45Ok, so now it's time to spam my f-list. I wish all of you a great 2009! The adults are now in charge of our government again, which makes me very happy. I know there are some folks on my friends list that are going through rough times, but I sincerely believe that the people who are in charge really care about us. We are truly coming out of the dark. I'm watching the Kennedy Center Honors, and I sincerely was cracking up when I saw our president's reaction to Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend being honored. He had no freaking clue who they were. I could just hear him muttering, "why not Hank Williams Jr.?" And Bettye Lavette? Wow, watching Pete Townshend break down when he saw her sing Love Reign Over Me. Is there any better message ever sung in a song?
And the firemen who were at the WTC honoring the Who?? The Who were the first band to rally around the policemen and firemen at the WTC. And THAT is why they are the greatest band ever.
